Brooklands College is a Further Education college based across two campuses in both Weybridge and Ashford. We are one of Surreys largest vocational training, further and higher education providers.

The College originally opened in 1948 as Weybridge Technical College and has grown steadily over the years, building on the College's established expertise and developing our provision to meet the constantly changing demands of the local, regional and national economies.

As well as joining one of the most successful colleges in Surrey, you will also be joining a vibrant, enthusiastic and supportive community with a rich history and an incredibly passionate team.

Our Campus

The campus once belonged to Hugh and Dame Ethel Locke King who lived in the Mansion House back in the 1890's. Hugh and Ethel were the masterminds behind Brooklands Racing Track which was a 2.7 mile circuit opened in 1907 and was the first race track of it's kind.

Brooklands Alumni

Tom Chilton, Martin Freeman, Sean Lock and Theo Randall are all alumni of Brooklands College.

House History

In 1915, Mansion House was loaned to the British army and used as an auxiliary hospital. By 1917, there were 140 beds and 20 open air beds with the hospital specialising in major operations and septic wounds.

The College was featured in the 2018 Waitrose Christmas advert and the films 'I want Candy' and 'Men Behaving Badly'.
